Nostalgia Corner (Pokemon part 1)

Hey Everyone

It’s been a while since I last posted, with university starting and other commitments it’s hard to focus on the site, and I guess since it’s pretty low traffic at this stage it probably doesn’t matter that much at all.

Any who I thought It would be good to take this opportunity to start blogging again while I have some free time, and what better topic to talk about than Pokemon. In this part I’d like to talk about the roots and beginnings of Pokemon as well as the accredited manga spin off Pokemon Adventures , rather than the official anime which will be covered in part 2. My thoughts on Bleach 515

Hey Everyone

As Bleach has been a hot topic for the last couple of weeks I thought I may as well make comments on each successive chapter. This week’s chapter consisted of a brief look on the aftermath and devastation caused by the Vandenreich, and a successful troll by Kubo regarding Byakuya. Read more…

Looking back at Bleach

Hey Everyone
I was browsing through some Bleach Amvs before, and I couldn’t help but wonder why they cut off the anime when they did. Right now Bleach is at another peak, and viewers loose the experience of watching the manga unfold in the form of animation. Anyway I’m not involved in the production of the show so I can’t just make things happen, however I can still remember the epic moments I experienced watching the show such as Ichigo’s 2nd hollow form. As a form of appreciation I thought that I should add a link to an epic amv showcasing this event.

Hope you Enjoy

Bleach Fans

Hey Everyone

Just wanted to make a mention of the latest Bleach arc. As some of you may or may not know, Bleach was on a course downhill, the anime was cancelled and the last arc the anime featured was one of the most dullest parts of the whole series in my opinion. However that has changed completely with Tite Kubo’s latest arc ‘The Thousand Year Blood War’. Without spoiling too much the author has gone into overdrive in this arc through a war between Quincy and Shinigami, revealing secrets, powers, and new and deadly/evil characters. So I thought I would let fans who grew old of the series know about this development, as it will definitely get you back into the series. Just a heads up in the next few chapters Squad 0 will be shown (hinting possibly at the origins of Isshin Kurosaki) and its predicted that Ichigo will go apeshit after seeing what has happened to his friends in Soul Society, Anyway here is a beast page from the arc to hopefully motivate people.

Thanks for reading

Bleach manga talk

Hey Everyone

Finished my math exam today which nearly fricken killed me, but hey now thats out of the way I felt like doing something different and I thought that giving my thoughts of the current Bleach Manga would be a great way of doing so. First of all as many of you would probably already know I can say that I am quite a fan of bleach, and thereby praising it in any way shape of form. However lately I have been a little disappointed in the way Kubo has taken the series.

The ending of the last arc was pretty good, the fighting subsided and it looked like a few questions would be addressed and answered at the beginning of the new arc. This was not the case, it seems as though Kubo has decided to put in some sort of small timeskip and pushed on to where rookie shingami have been assigned to Karakura town, but alas they were hopeless and Ichigo saves the day. That part was essentially the beginning of the new arc, which I thought was reasonably acceptable and maybe introducing some new characters would be good for the new series.

But from then on nothing really improved, If I remember correctly there are 2 more chapters after that point and all it is essentially is an unknown force (supposedly the Quincys) attacking both Ichigo and Soul society. Now I would be quite fine with this ONLY if it was near the middle of the storyline. The fact that this was out of the blue aswell as being at the start of the new and supposedly final arc really is a dissapointment to me as Kubo who said had a lot of ideas for bleach (possibly still does) has focused on the action of the story and has not given any real answers to what the audience is desiring to know.

Anyway that was my thoughts on the new arc. It still has time to be improved and who knows Kubo might actually be foreshadowing a magnificent final story in some way or another. Till next time.

Fan of Martial arts, Manga and Anime? If so then you will like this series

If you are a fan of at least one of the above I strongly advise you to check out first of all the anime Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple. It is a great show with exceptional characters and roughly runs along the line of the weak boy Kenichi wishes to get stronger in order to protect Miu. He then goes to a dojo filled with 6 masters, who train his body and teach him necessary skills in order to get stronger. Below ill link an AMV and the advertisement which decided to make my watch it.

All in all Kenichi is filled with comedy as well as some pretty cool martial arts and a reasonably good plot. However I would recommend watching the full anime which consists of 50 episodes. Then continuing onto the manga which goes for around another 300 chapters, anyway if you decide to look further into it Im sure you wont regret it :).
